Bathroom Renovations on a Budget!

Do you ever wish you could renovate your bathroom?  Maybe its time for a makeover.  Often some small changes can make a huge improvement.  Update your hardware like towel racks, shelving, drawer handles and taps.  This can all be done on a small budget.  You may consider changing lighting, toilet and maybe go with a pedestal sink.  Some or all of these changes can make a difference for you.

Air Conditioning!

If you are lucky enough to have air conditioning, there are ways to ensure it performs at its best?  The most important thing is to clean the filters, coils and blowers regularily.  This will cut down on how hard the unit has to work to cool and cycle the air.  The thermostat should be set as high as comfortable; the less temperature difference between outside and inside, the easier and more efficient your air conditioner will be.  You can have a home and away temperature if your thermostat allows.  Regardless of how hot it may seem, your temperature shouldn't be set below 20 degrees as it could lead to the air conditioner freezing up.  It helps to keep your windows, doors, curtains and blinds closed through the day to prevent hot air from coming in.  It can be helpful to have fans on through the house to circulate the air so the air conditioner doesn't have to work so hard
